	Bronx-Lebanon Declares Year of Oral Health
	Bronx-Lebanon has officially designated 2011 as the “Year of Oral Health.” “It is a most important acknowledgement and tribute to our Department of Dentistry and essential role as Doctor to the Community,” stated Shirley Rodriquez Remeneski, Chairperson, Board of Trustees. “Bronx-Lebanon’s highly skilled and experienced dentistry team is clearly succeeding in advancing dental care to build a healthier community,” added Miguel A. Fuentes, Jr., President and CEO. The Department of Dentistry at Bronx-Lebanon now provides more than 60,000 visits annually at six site locations and at local schools. Its general practice and pediatric dental residencies are also nationally recognized for their outstanding dedication in caring for the underserved population.
	“We are placing smiles throughout the Bronx community by providing comprehensive general and specialty care for adults and children, including sophisticated dental surgeries, innovative implant procedures, and cosmetic dentistry, among numerous other services,” stated Dr. Paul E. Gates, Chairman, Dentistry.
	During the “Year of Oral Health” Bronx-Lebanon honored John Babiarz, President and Chief Operating Officer, ARAMARK Healthcare. He was presented with the hospital’s Medal of Honor for Distinguished Service in recognition of his exceptional record of accomplishments at ARAMARK. Mr. Babiarz currently leads ARAMARK Healthcare’s acute care and senior living business for the delivery of food and nutrition, environmental services, facility management, and medical equipment maintenance and management at more than 1,000 healthcare organizations throughout North America. An essential part of Bronx-Lebanon’s annual campaign is the work of its special Celebration Committee chaired by Ms. Remeneski. The other committees include the Corporate Committee chaired by Carolyn Drexel (Retired Executive, Vice President, Branch Distribution, Capital One Bank); Businesspersons Committee chaired by William Holiber (President and CEO, New York Daily News/U.S. News Media Group); and the Physicians and Nurses Committee chaired by Dr. Gilda Diaz-Fuentes (President, Medical Board/Chief, Pulmonary Medicine).
